I attended the 2:00 forum yesterday in the Taylor Chapel, where I was able to see and listen to Brother Nolan Archibald. The presentation focused on his life and achievements, both in Family, Church and Business. On top of being the CEO of a $6.5 billion per year corporation, he was also called last year as a General Authority of the church, a member of the area 70's.
I enjoyed his presentation very much. He was entertaining throughout and also shared good advice from both his own experiences, and from others with whom he has associated. His presentation focused on 6 things that we should apply when setting goals:
Brother Nolan has helped several companies make a 180 turnaround. He became CEO of Black and Decker in late 1985 when the company was losing $160 million per year, to what it is today, a $6.5 billion per year corp with the largest market share of both industrial and consumer power tools. I'm glad I went.
